Map Reviews - posted by -CAT at 06/01/2003 - 12:14
Finally some news has arrived from this Cat to bring attention to some positive reviews on 3 of my maps over at Kinpin Map Reviews.
Maps entitled Negleted Province, Constructive Carnage and Industrial Circuit have all been given great reviews by the man Pencho.
Each map being highly praised and scoring over 90%, but there were minor problems and mistakes, which let the maps down. The mistakes I was unaware of at the time of releasing the maps were the lack of juniors in outside areas.
What I originally thought was the sky light did this for you, but I guess I was wrong and in future I will be improving on this error and it should no longer be an concern.
I would like to thank Pencho for using his time to review some of my maps and I will be looking forward to seeing some more.
Other mappers, if you want to see if Pencho or Dirty Dog has reviewed any of your maps, then head on over to here.
Cheers, -Cat

New Map - posted by -CAT at 12/12/2002 - 12:03
I have just completed two new maps, one called Resident's Rage and the other called Egyptian Quarters. Resident's Rage is a large bagman map set in a residential zone, filled with all the weapons (apart from the Flamer), armour and ammo. There are plenty of spawn points(20) and the routes to and from the team bases and the cash pit are simply placed on each side of the map.
You can get Resident's Rage from my maps section or if that requires too much effort, click here.
Egyptian Quarters is a small deathmatch map based in Egypt with 18 spawn points. The shape of the map is pretty simply with many corners for 1v1, 1v2, 1v12 fights?
You can get Egyptian Quarters from my maps section or click here if you have minimal movement in your hand because of some unfortunate accident.

Update - posted by -CAT at 05/11/2002 - 14:31
Long time, no see. Sorry there hasn't been much updates. Lately I have been very busy, I've got a new car
and I'm trying to make it work! I'm also apply for a new job and taking on courses for web designing. So it's all good.
As for maps, I'm nearly complete on one called "Residents Rage". It's a medium sized BM map and I'm just giving the final touches and
it will be out in a few days.
I’ve also decided to help Sylacs on a mapping project with a few others.
I’m not going to say much on it as I haven’t yet got permission to show anything about it. But what I can say is it looks very interesting and you lot should enjoy it.
Well that’s it for now, I’ll give a n update soon.

Error With Map - posted by -CAT at 21/11/2002 - 11:13
Sorry for the lack in updates on this site, but I've been very busy finishing this map for you lot. Unfortunitly I'm currently experiencing some problems with it.You can read more about this problem in the forums, but heres a quick summary on it.
This map is meant for BM, I don't know the reason why, but every time I try to run a BM server whilst running this map, I will get a error message from windows like this.

This error only happens when I try to open this one map, so I'm thinking, maybe I missed something. Here is my map, remember its still in beta so there will be some things wrong with it. here
If anybody knows how to fix this error I'm getting, please either respond in the fourms or e-mail me, as I will be very grateful.
Another update you may have noticed already is in the latest projects section, more projects has been listed. Thats all the updates for now.
Cheers, -Cat

Latest Project Section - posted by -CAT at 16/11/2002 - 01:52
I haven't been working much on this site for a coupe of days now, but I have managed to quickly build a new section. This new section I'm talking about is dedicated to display all my current projects at work. You can find it on your left in the menu name "Latest Projects" (or if your lazy then simply click on the link supplied). There is only one project to view at this time, but slowly a few more will show. To be honest I'm not sure how many projects I got my self into, but the one I'm working on at the moment is the one displayed.
I hope all of you will find this new section interesting. If there are any other sections you lot will like to see, then please e-mail me your suggestion.

Updated site/Batch Compiling - posted by -CAT at 13/11/2002 - 10:26
I have been working really hard thought out all yestday till now to fix many bugs in this site. I have also started on the screens section where you can now find screenshots of maps that are not yet complete.
Another update, I may have mentioned in the forums that I have had trouble to compiling my maps while using Windows XP. Well Pencho has been kind enough to write a tutorial to fix this problem that I encounted. Thanks to him I now have more time to concentrate on my maps instead of dealing with compile errors. What he uses is batch compiling instead of the default compiles in Radient. This method is much quicker and simpler to use so I recommend this technique.
